About LUMS

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), generally alluded to by its acronym LUMS, is a university situated in Lahore, Pakistan. History of LUMS

In 1996, School of Arts and Science was presented to oversee the undergraduate programmes. LUMS Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB)

LUMS Department of Humanities and Social Science (DHSS)

The Department of Humanities and Social Science (DHSS) aspires to the progression of awareness that is socially and ethically related through advancement and brilliance in its academics programme. DHSS provides 3 undergraduate programmes contributing to the BSc (Honours) degree in Anthropology/Sociology, Humanities and Political Science, and also a merged programme in Politics and Economics in conjunction with the Economics Department. Commenced in 1999, the Department of Humanities and Social Science is home to a number of distinct disciplines in the Social Science and Humanities which include Anthropology and Sociology, Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and History.

LUMS Department of Economics

The Economics Department gives a FOUR-year undergraduate programme in Economics (first class graduated in 1997) and also a master's programme in Economics (1st class graduated in 2002). Economics is among the most famous majors at the (LUMS) and nearly 50 per cent of the student body is enrolled in Economics either as a major, a joint degree programme or as a minor. LUMS Department of Law and Policy
