University of Rajshahi History

University of Rajshahi appearing the 2nd most significant University in Bangladesh is the maximum harley seat of studying in the Northern region of the country. The importance of a University of Rajshahi in the Northern part of ers while East Pakistan was felt promptly after the invention of Pakistan. These areas were reasonably lagging lurking behind in higher education and the University of Dhaka then only of its sort in the country, being positioned in the capital was not very simply obtainable to the students of this part. Subsequent a common requirement for a University of Rajshahi in this place, the government well prepared a feasibility article and Rajshahi was located appropriate for creating the same. Rajshahi University act 1953 (East Bengal Act XV of 1953) was exceeded by the East Pakistan provincial assembly on March 31, 1953. The assent of the then Governor to determine a University at Rajshahi was 1st shared in the Dhaka Gazette. Remarkable dated 16th June 1951 and subsequently the University of Rajshahi commenced performance. "Bara Kuthi", 18th century's Dutch investing house was made the administration building. Dr. Itrat Hossain Zeberi was the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Rajshahi. Its usual academic activities commenced in 1954. During the early days of initial welcome classes were held at Rajshahi Government College. In 1961 the University of Rajshahi changed to its current campus.

University of Rajshahi Admission Method

Enrollment is made only after a proper admission test. To sit for the Admission Examination one must satisfy pre-specified conditions. The conditions are fixed by the Admission Committee. Usually admission conditions, rules and the access of forms are shared in the countrywide dailies.

The procedure and sum particular rules of admission test is permanent by the particular Unit. Usually, there are 2 parts in the Admission

1. Written/MCQ Test: The students are to sit for written or MCQ test on their subjects in H. S. C. Some Unit take MCQ (Multiple Choice Question). In MCQ test the students are to choose the appropriate responses from the accessible selections. In written Test the students are to write the answers of the determined questions. The students qualified in the test are called for oral test.
2. Oral Test: After determining in the written/MCQ test the students are to confront an oral test. In this test students are asked questions decision to their subjects in S. S. C & H. S. C. The number of qualified applicant for enrollment is chose by the admission committee depending on accessible seats.
